Private Pilot License

 A private pilot license (PPL) is the license that will allow the holder to act as the pilot-in-command of an aircraft privately (not for compensation or hire). The requirement to obtain this license is determined by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Entry Requirements:

  1. Be at least 16 years of age

  2. Can speak, read, write, and understand the English language.

  3. All applicants must present a valid National ID or passport from their country of origin.

  4. Obtain a medical from an approved Aviation Medical Officer, (for flight training Only).

Estimated Total US $13,800 (PPL Course Only including Ground School)

The minimum required hours by the JCARs is 40 hours. However, this may not be sufficient for some individuals to attain flight proficiency. Additional hours of flight training may be necessary prior to taking their flight test examination.

Full-time ground school is completed in 3 months with classes during the weekdays.

Part-time ground school is completed in 6 months with classes every Saturday.
